Job vacancy: Special Advisor, Communications

The European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (Hybrid CoE) is seeking a Special Advisor in Communications with strong editing skills to support the Centre’s publication process and general communications activities.

The Special Advisor will edit publications on various hybrid threat-related topics and support the Centre’s publication work at its different stages, as well as produce content, such as news items or press releases, on related topics. In addition, she/he will support Hybrid CoE’s media relations, social media production and other communications activities as a member of the Centre’s communications team.

Qualifications: The preferred candidate should have a suitable master’s or bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of previous experience in editing and communications work, preferably in an international working environment. An excellent command of written and spoken English (the working language at the Centre) and the ability to edit texts in the English language is required.

Applicants should be citizens of one of Hybrid CoE’s Participating States and should be willing to undergo a security clearance.

The employment contract will be fixed-term for two years, and the salary for the position is 3,800-4,400 euros/month.
