Open vacancy: PUBLICATIONS EDITOR for a two-year term from January/February 2020

The European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid threats is looking for a PUBLICATIONS EDITOR to be in charge of the Centre’s growing publications activity. The publications editor will support the experts at the Centre in finalizing and editing the Centre’s own publications. The language for all publications is English and the publications series includes papers of varying length and style. The publications editor must have sufficient expertise in editorial work and have strong skills in English (no need to be a native speaker as the publications go through language checking). A background in the field of international relations and/or security studies is considered a particular asset.

We offer an interesting and dynamic position in a stimulating international environment.

The European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (Hybrid CoE) is a developing international expert organization of 26 participating states with a Secretariat in Sörnäinen in Helsinki. The Centre employs around 30 experts of different nationalities, and the working language is English.

Hybrid CoE’s mission is to improve the preparedness and capabilities of its participating states in countering hybrid threats, and to strengthen cooperation between the European Union and NATO in this respect. Hybrid CoE operates through networks of multinational officials, business representatives and researchers, whose activities are managed and coordinated by the Secretariat.
